Sonoco Named a “Best for Vets” Company
HARTSVILLE, S.C., U.S. – Sonoco (NYSE: SON), one of the largest diversified global packaging companies, has been named one of 82 "Best for Vets" companies by Military Times. Sonoco joins other well-known brands, including Kellogg, AT&T, Hilton, Macy's Inc. and The Boeing Company on the distinguished list.
Sonoco, a certified Palmetto Military Employer, recognizes the valuable skills U.S. military veterans bring to its team, including a strong work ethic, loyalty and unwavering determination to be the best.

In its eighth year, Best for Vets rankings evaluate companies' cultures, veteran recruiting, veteran policies and accommodations for members of the National Guard and reserves.

These efforts deserve recognition from the country and should get the attention of veterans looking for a new career," said George Altman, the Military Times editor in charge of the rankings.
A coveted honor for companies around the country, the annual Military Times Best for Vets rankings are the result of a meticulous, months-long process. Military Times carefully evaluates survey data and includes only the best companies in its published rankings.
