HARTSVILLE, S.C., April 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sonoco (NYSE: SON) announced that the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio has entered a judgment against its subsidiary, U.S. Paper, and Sonoco in the amount of $3.75 million in a case involving alleged trade secrets of the plaintiff. Although not covered by the judgment, the plaintiff may also make a claim for certain litigation expenses. Sonoco is considering what steps to take with respect to the judgment including an appeal.
